I borrowed this line from Alanis Morisette’s song.
I certainly have a lot to write about but I still can’t quite put them into paragraphs. To be honest, it would be so much easier to come up with a poem or a song.
So I’m not going to sound too serious.
To describe how I feel now, here’s a line I came up with this afternoon.
All the world’s a stage(from Shakespeare) and I have stage fright!

Hehe I was just wondering, because before, you only hear shanta in India. But now this “name” keeps popping out from all over, it’s crazy! But it’s cool, I just hope it’s not just a fad.
I heard Johnny Depp’s filming a movie entitled “Shantaram”. It’s about a director with bestselling films. There’s this new village that’s named “kiShanta“. My bestfriend in high school says it’s a really nice place and that she hopes to get a place there one day. And there’s also a spa named “Shanta“.
In case you’re wondering, shanta is a Hindu word that means peace. I think that is what everyone is looking for now in this high tech digital shimoflimoglobin world. Peace is something everyone’s working so hard for.
We pay loads of cash to get to a spa, for an hour of what? Yes, you guessed it, peace. Almost everyone works their butts off to attain peace. The kind of peace that only lasts so long. It’s so oddly temporary, maybe that kind of peace isn’t really the ultimate thing. Once you step out of the spa, the thought of work comes rushing in on you and stress you out. Next thing you know, you are just so tired you go straight to bed.
You know what the funny thing is, peace is for everybody. Not just for those who go to the spa. You don’t have to be in a spa for peace and quiet. You can stay right there in your seat and feel extremely peaceful. You can find peace within yourself. Call it yoga or whatever. Truth is, you can find peace within yourself and without the help of instructors. Contemplative prayer, the cheapest way to find peace. If you’re not comfortable praying that way, just try sitting in a corner with your eyes closed. In a few minutes, you will find that you are snoring. Now that kind of peace my friend, is priceless!(joke)
But seriously, praying helps. It does. It works for me
